Snuck this painting in this week....still working on the personal mandalas and will be back shortly with them.
Once again I'm exploring the patchwork theme and I love the tactile experience of working with paper and fabrics. I've inlcuded a close up detail in her tail.

In her shawl is written a zen saying - "Knock on the sky and listen to the sound" .
Her hand is a paw and is based on a snippet of one of my dreams from years ago. I had bumped into an Iroquian man in some traditional dress. He had his arms crossed and as I looked at him one arm turned into a foxes paw. I remember it being quite vivid.

Just taking time out to post one of the paintings I finished a few weeks ago. I will be back in a couple of more days with one of the commissions Im doing at the moment.I also wanted to mention that I've started doing Wednesdays at Eumundi Markets on the Sunshine Coast. Im currently 'floating' around but it is not as big a market on Wednesday so you should find me easily enough.
