It's one of my older favourites and this painting (which is still in progress) has been inspired by the title of the song at least...it's probably not looking 'way out' enough to kind of embody the song....the man is looking a little conservative perhaps but I've put a few of the lyrics in in any case...plus a tiger.

I've got a stash of paintings to do for boys...and this one was a sketch from a few years ago .
I am about to start on another book - this time it stars a little boy.....so I needed to practice my boy faces.


In other news -
- I have 12 - 16 commissions lined up between now and the end of the year and they will start to emerge one by one from now until then.


- I will be doing two different markets this weekend - my normal on Saturday at Eumundi, on the Sunshine Coast and the Young Designers Market in Brisbane at Southbank. This will be held from 9 - 5 on Sunday.

- and finally this week I celebrated my 40th birthday (!) - hooray.
(milestone indeed and it still has me thinking pretty hard...).
