Hello :)!!
Some more pictures from today's activities. Busy busy busy...and that's going to go on for a little while longer yet. The picture above is a new painting -not completely finished yet - it needs some fine tuning here and there. It is titled "Longing' and the sketch and progress is below.


The other two pictures are pages from the book.


Finally the last lot of pictures are of some sketches I've done recently - 2 second sketches that come alive. No matter how hard I try it is difficult to carry the same 'life' into the painting that you get in the original sketch. I believe its because it is a spontaneous event, very quick - capturing the feeling of the image right then in the moment. I get re inspired over and over by just viewing the basic sketch.

Hello :)!!
Some new things this week on my market stall and on the drawing board.....at the moment I am not getting much finished just started.


Six weeks to go for the illustrations in the book and 11 images to finish!! Several commissions to complete...many running behind schedule. I don't think I ever talk about anything else on this blog besides running late and whats happening with the weather (still beautiful by day and a little cold at night :)).

Hopefully it's the images that are keeping regulars visiting and not the conversation (!)

I wonder when it will start to get cold here? Geez - not wishing for it, but really, the weather has been beautiful. Look at the latest lot of bananas out in my backyard!
